Disposal of old devices and batteries

Waste electrical and electronic equipment
Some of our products – for example illuminated candle arches and light arches – contain electrical components and therefore count as electrical and electronic equipment. Special take-back and disposal rules apply to them.
- Not with household waste: the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the device or packaging means the device must be disposed of separately from household waste.
- Free return: you can hand in old devices free of charge at municipal collection points. When buying a new device of the same type we take back one old device free of charge; small old devices (no external dimension over 25 cm) are taken back in household quantities even without a new purchase.
- How to return to us: please announce the return briefly by email to kontakt@e-r-m.de. We will then give you the shipping address and clarify who bears the costs.
- Lamps and batteries must be removed before return where this is possible without destroying them.
- Personal data: our products do not store personal data. You are responsible for deleting any data on old devices.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
Where batteries are supplied with or contained in devices:
- Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste; you are legally obliged to return used batteries.
- You can return batteries free of charge wherever they are sold and at municipal collection points. Used batteries from our deliveries may also be sent back to us with sufficient postage.
- Batteries containing pollutants carry a chemical symbol: Pb (lead), Cd (cadmium), Hg (mercury).
Packaging
Please dispose of sales packaging via household collection and paper/cardboard via waste paper collection. We participate in a dual system for our sales packaging.
